Parent involvement is the most accurate predictor of a child's high academic achievement and healthy social and emotional development. When parents are involved at school and create a home environment that fosters learning and encourages high but reasonable expectations, children have higher test grades, higher attendance rates, and adapt well to school. Below, are upcoming District 26 workshops and offerings to support our families and to help parents stay involved in, and connected to, their child's school experience.
